That’s not just an awesome tagline. It has served me well in real estate for decades now. A Picture will sell a house. Well not by itself, but if I don’t include good looking pictures then two things happen. 1. I won’t get a call at all. 2. I’ll get the wrong calls.
What is a bad call in real estate? Its the kind that doesn’t convert. If I get someone looking for a high end house, and i take them to a run of the mill house, I just wasted four hours of my day, and Im not a real estate agent for the fun of it. Im there to convert sales. I also want to sell a fireplace, a loft, or a wood burning stove. Whatever features are in that house, I want displayed in pictures.
The top of the line houses are especially my concern when hiring a real estate photographer. If there are architectural features to be shown, or any high end house, i call an architectural photographer out of northern virginia. This is where trial and error come into play. Is one guy too much for a certain house. Will one just get me cheap real estate pictures for $200? How do I hire the right guy when I haven’t found any high end photographers in southern maryland. The top end houses are worth the expense when an $800 photographer helps me sell a $560,000 house!
If you are selling your own house, which i don’t advise but thats for another blog post, you may choose to take your own photos. Below is a video full of tips on what to know in advance.
